SAKURAO GIN comes out in 5th Mar.,2018

CHUGOKU JOZO CO., LTD. (President and CEO Koichiro Shirai) announces the launch of Japanese craft gin, “SAKURAO GIN LIMITED” and “SAKURAO GIN ORIGINAL” on March 5, 2018 (Monday).
Unique, fresh, good selected botanicals are used for “SALURAO GIN LIMITED”, all 17 kinds of botanicals are from Hiroshima.
9 kinds of Hiroshima botanicals and 4 kinds of traditional botanicals are used for “SAKURAO GIN ORIGINAL”, as well as Sakura, representing Japan.
“SAKURAO GIN” will be sold mainly for Bars and export.

From Hiroshima to the World

Our distilling master uses 100-years of distilling techniques and know-how to select only the best ingredients from Hiroshima to create SAKURAO GIN.
Our botanicals produce a wide variety of aromatic notes, including citrus such as the florid-smelling lemon and the rich fragrance of yuzu, as well as aromas from Japanese cypress and oyster shells.
Our gin also uses cherry blossoms, known as sakura in Japanese, which is the symbol of Sakurao, where our distillery is located.
SAKURAO GIN has been distilled using traditional methods from England, the home of dry gin.
